What the club says: Alcanada opened in 2003, and is next to the Mediterranean sea. The par 72 course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr and Jr and has 4 par 5s, 8 par 4s and 4 par 3s. The virgin terrain gently slopes down towards the shoreline, with its pine, olive and oak trees and there is a marvellous view of the island of Alcanada with lighthouse in the foreground, and the mountains of the Sierra de Levante in the background.This course is a must for every golfer. Located at Puerto de Alcudia, about 45 minutes from Palma.

Fantastic golf course with exceptional facilities. Cuisine top level. Wonderful location overlooking the bay. Porsche connection adds even more value.

Bucket list venue that lives up to the hype
Alcanada was due to host the Road to Alcanada for the Euro Pro tour this year but it was cancelled due to covid.Perfect example of its quality, it is not the cheapest but it is one fo the best in the area by far. Exceptional presentation and conditioning.Superb short game practice area.Food is simply stunning.(Round played: Sep 2021 - Score: 96 Handicap: 17.8)

Wonderful views, great set up
A must play course if you're ever on the island. Course still under flight maintenance although doesn't detract from the quality on offer(Round played: Mar 2019 - Score: 83 Handicap: 15.3)

A must visit, if in Mallorca
Great venue,course presentation,views and location. Some excellent innovations to police slow play using GPS tracking.Love the video recording off the tee on #7. This is a superb venue where attention to detail in presentation and customer delivery is second to none. Food and clubhouse are superb.Halfway house magnificent.I loved it! For such a seriously expensive course (EUR 150 plus 40 for a buggy), I am expecting close to perfection and this course does not deliver. On the upside, the setting is fantastic, the views lovely, the clubhouse and other facilities very nice and the course a real challenge (maybe too much for some). But the condition of the course was mediocre by normal golf club standards and bordering on unacceptable for a course that presumably aspires to better than that. Teeing area were bare and inadequately maintained in places, as were fairways. But the real problem was the greens. Whatever grass type they use, it means you get massive spike marks, even with soft spikes, so by the time it's afternoon, putting is a lottery. Pace of greens is also surprisingly slow (try Royal Sevilla for 'proper' greens). And unrepaired pitch marks are commonplace. It made for a very scruffy feel and certainly not worth the money asked for.
I suspect they would probably say that this seasons very hot dry weather has not helped. Maybe so, but then don't expect to charge top dollar, because that is how you will be judged.

A great test of golf at a truly amazing course. Fantastic facilities and outstanding scenery. Fairways are terrific, greens are terrifying. Putts that break uphill and anything with a slight up-slope changes the putting pace amazingly. Downhill putts that scare you to death. Absolutely brilliant I wouldn't change a thing. A must play if you get the chance.

Green fees are a bit expensive at €130 but a great track which 12 of us would definitely recommend and we will be playing it again
