Bunker Mentality Sponsor Two Amateur Tours In 2010

bm_350Bunker Mentality – one of Europe's most fashionable clothing brands – will sponsor not one but two amateur tours next season. Having sponsored the Gtour last season, it will do so again this season whilst also sponsoring the Single Figure Golfer (SFG) tour.

Colin Asbury of Gtour said “following a successful tour in 2009 we are delighted to once again team up with Bunker Mentality in 2010. The Gtour is about recreating the drama and camaraderie of the professional tours for amateur golfers & for us the Bunker Mentality brand is a perfect fit as they represent what modern golf is all about”.

Bunker Mentality’s Robert Hart said: “Both these tours have been successful in the last 12 months proving that there are lots of keen golfers out there looking to play in a regular, well organised event. The profile of the golfer is changing and a new   mindset is at work on both these tours. They are run by young companies with management that are keen to grow  the game. Gtour & SFG recognised the change and want a sponsor that reflects this, which is why Bunker Mentality is a perfect fit.”

Paul Heming of SFG said “we are delighted to be associated with this vibrant clothing brand and are pleased to align ourselves with a company who understands the importance of grassroots golf”

The Gtour and SFG tours will be running between February and October 2010. The SFG tour is open to golfers with a single figure handicap whilst the Gtour is open to golfers of all abilities

 “At Bunker we make fully use of our social media channels to communicate with our customers directly. Gtour & SFG also do this which was another key factor in our decision to support both tours as all our customers are very media savvy.”

Bunker Mentality had another very busy year last year and announcing these sponsorship agreements is a perfect way to start 2010.
