Embracing the increasingly popular desire of golfers to own fashionable golf attire that looks equally suited both on and off the course, Oscar Jacobson's Spring/Summer 2017 Collection is able to deliver just that, using a mix of proven performers and stylish newcomers. This neew line combines performance-enhancing fabrics with striking fashion statements to ensure that golfers look their best in the main part of the season ahead.

The spring/summer 2017 collection features some high-performance newcomers like the high-tech Torex Fieldsensor fabric from Japan-based textile specialists, Toray, which raises polo shirt technology and UV-protection to new levels in humid or sunny conditions. While the luxurious extrafine merino wool, Cashwool collection, is expanded for SS17 alongside an industry-leading trouser line-up.

Torex Fieldsensor ®, which features in a number of spring/summer 2017 polo shirts, boasts a number of attributes to enhance comfort and performance through the warmer months. It disperses perspiration more efficiently and quickly by wicking it from the body side of the fabric to a broader area of the outer side, where it can then evaporate and diffuse more rapidly. It is also blessed with premium UV-cut and anti-penetration properties, markedly reducing the amount of potentially harmful UV rays that penetrate the fabric, and bringing excellent levels of skin protection to golfers who may be out in bright sunlight for several hours.

The headline Fieldsensor shirt will be the Ivo Pin, a classic pique-knit, flat-knit collar polo available in five colours, with Egon, available in four colours, featuring a similar construction in a design that also boasts striking colour contrast panels across the upper chest. Alric is a pique-knit polo in three colours with a stiff flat-knit collar and eye-catching sleeve and collar accents, while the Ace polo shirt, available in 3 colours, completes the collection.

Not every spring or summer’s day is accompanied by sunshine and warmth, and there will be times when keeping body temperature at an optimal level, without excess clothing or material hampering the freedom to swing, will be the key requirement. Among the spring/summer 2017 collection garments to provide an effective and stylish solution on such days are the classic Wyatt V-neck sweater and Rutger V-neck slipover, both woven from Cashwool ®, a 100% extrafine merino wool and available in a wider colour palette than ever before.

Wyatt and Rutger offer classic OJ Sport styling with full fashion details around the collar, plus additional sleeve inserts on Wyatt, with both performing equally well as ideal top layers on milder spring days, or perfect mid-layers when temperature or wind chill demands another layer on top. New for 2017 are Wyatt Pin and Wyatt Tour, versions of the Cashwool sweaters with either a pin or Tour logo.
