Cleveland Golf has launched the new 588 family of irons which are engineered to emphasise feel, forgiveness and flight across three different head designs, offering Clevelands most comprehensive custom fit for any player’s profile.

Cleveland suggest the 588 family of irons can be easily interchanged between 588 Altitude, Mid Trajectory and Tour Trajectory Irons to customise a set with the perfect combination of ball flight, feel and forgiveness.

588 ALTITUDE

Cleveland Overview:  With this hybrid-iron set, hitting the ball longer and higher has never been easier. 588 Altitude Irons are fully interchangeable with 588 Mid Trajectory and Tour Trajectory Irons so you can build your perfect set.

Engineered for altitude, the seamlessly blended hybrid iron set makes every club incredibly easy to hit for maximum playability and performance. Full hollow construction and advanced internal weighting adds forgiveness and promotes a lower, deeper centre of gravity for optimal launch and effortless distance. Every iron has a forged club face to enhance ball speed and feel.

588 MT (MID TRAJECTORY)

Cleveland Overview: Find more greens with an unparalleled combination of forgiveness and feel. 588 Mid Trajectory Irons are fully interchangeable with 588 Tour Trajectory and Altitude Irons so you can build your perfect set.

.Engineered for Mid Trajectory, 588 MT Irons feature a constant blade length throughout the set and a blade height that progressively increases in higher-lofted clubs. The easy-to-hit long irons are blended with more traditional short irons in the set. The full hollow construction offers high performance in a playable design. Advanced internal weighting adds forgiveness and promotes a lower, deeper centre of gravity for optimal launch and effortless distance. Every iron has a forged club face to enhance ball speed and feel. A multi-material insert of polymer and aluminium in each iron plaque dampens vibration at impact for more consistent feel.

588 TT (TOUR TRAJECTORY)

 Cleveland Overview: Take your accuracy to a new level with tour-calibre flight and feel. 588 Tour Trajectory Irons are fully interchangeable with 588 Mid Trajectory and Altitude Irons so you can build your perfect set.

Engineered for Tour Trajectory, the constant blade height with progressive blade length promotes more forgiveness in long irons and controlled, penetrating trajectory in short irons. A modest cavity back with engineered undercut improves ball speed and accuracy on off-centre hits, while every iron has a forged club face to enhance ball speed and feel. As with the 588 MT Irons, a multi-material iron plaque of polymer and aluminium dampens vibration at impact for more consistent feel.
