Course Strategy - Use your 'Stock Shot' when under pressure

By: Golfshake Editor | Mon 31 Jul 2017 | Comments ()

Almost every professional golfer is able to go to his/hers standard stock shot. It's a shot that is vital for the pressured occassions on a golf course when perhaps a tournament win or making a cut is on the line.

The stock shot is essentially a golf shot you feel more confident about hitting compared with any other. It might be a simple change of grip pressure, height of your tee, width of your stance etc. that enables you to be more confident and hit a consistent shot under stress.

James Reeson highlights the key things he does personally that allows him to hit his stock shot, by finding out your own personal nuonces and subtle swing thoughts, you too can find the golf shot you can rely on during pressured situations on a golf course.
