Fine course, played in many times, always the green keepers are actively working on the course and improving it.

Played here twice in November whilst staying at the lovely Griffon Forest lodges. Course was in fine nick for the time of year. Never got a single bad roll on a green despite them having recently been hollow-tined! As it stands this is still a young course and so is relatively straight forward, a little water aside. But, once it begins to mature and if looked after as well as at present, it will become a very good course. Will visit again without a doubt.

A good course I've played on quite a few times. We were on winter greens which was a shame but they were good considering... Excellent facilities.

New and wide open. Water does come into play and there are some well designed holes.

Great Value
My buddy and I booked a “Stay and Play” en-route to Close House for £110 each. This included 1 round of golf, accommodation £25 evening meal allowance and full breakfast.The course was in decent nick for the time of year and there was only 1 temp in play and that was just a timing issue for us as they were top dressing. It’s not the most challenging course that you will ever play but as high handicapper we found it very enjoyable.
Accommodation was very comfortable and the food was top notch. Would happily go back.
