Played the course for the first time on 15th September and were lucky to have good weather.
The course was in fantastic condition and is a great test of Golf with many natural features and terrific views over the Irish coast. Hilly and each hole interesting. Was looking to play again on the 16th , but ran out of time. Will certainly be back to play again sometime in the future.

Scenic and strategic
Played here over Christmas, not very long but really interesting. Very scenic and strategic. Everyone we encountered on the day was very welcoming. Had a lesson with the pro, Alan who was excellent. Listened to what I wanted, identified my weakness and offered a solution. His use of Trackman was not just fascinating, but very useful. Will definitely come again.Reviewer Rating

A James Braid course, celebrating 100 years this year, Howth GC is a great course. Strategy and accuracy is key. Greens very good. First 3 holes are unique and tight, a tough start. Views of Dublin and the Leinster coast amazing, hard to believe you are 30 mins from O'Connell Street. Clubhouse has a bar with basic fair. It is hilly nothing too taxing. For the location and green fees well worth a go for any first timer.
