Played on the 14th & 15th of June, after 3pm the price drops to 39 Euros. Course was in excellent condition, very green, lakes full and bunkers nice and sandy. Adequate pro shop, food in the adjoining bar was excellent as was the hospitality. The par 3s are tough, but overall the course is a fair test of your handicap, well worth a visit.

The course is excellent but let down by poor pro shop staff and terrible hire clubs. The Pro shop itself is impressive and sells the latest Nike golf clothing. The staff didn't speak unless they were spoken to and answered with single word answers showing little care for the golfers experience. Given that the shop sells the latest Nike gear it should be embarrassed at charging ?30 for their hire clubs. Antique golf clubs that were so damaged they were almost unusable. Thankfully found alternatives at last minute.

The golf experience however was incredible. Every hole was an experience and had unique features. It is blessed with stunning panoramic views on almost every hole. It is a very long challenging course but throughly enjoyable.

I can overlook the poor shop staff and honestly say this is one of the best courses I've played. Will be returning in future.

Really difficult Jack Nicklaus designed course. It didn't make it any easier as it was really windy so made it that much harder. Greens super fast but great condition.

not for the faint hearted, this is a very big course with lots of sand to play in. played this in 35c so was very please to have a buggy but disappointed to find the club house closed when I got back in at 1830. A good course for all levels but to get the best out of it you need to be sub 15hc I think.

As a Junior player (aged 9), I think Condado is a good course for more advanced golfers because there is tough rough and some big bunkers and some very tricky greens. There are excellent practice facilities.

Very strange review below suggesting this is hybrid parkland/links course. There isn't a tree in sight so not sure reference to parkland is correct.

This is a desert course which has a links feel to it mainly because of the often strong breeze. The course is immaculate and is a fair test for all golfers from the yellow tees. The whites are a different game all together.

A clubhouse has now opened which adds to the experience.

A great golf course, which is maturing very nicely and will only get better. One of the best courses in the region of Murcia.

A must play for any serious golfer.

Things have improved since the course review was written, the pro shop has relocated from the Al Kasar centre into the new temporary club house by the first tee, so player now have a facility to have a drink or snack after the game. I have played The Alhama Signature Course many times as I am fortunate enough to own an apartment on the resort, the course is fantastic, very long fairways with challenging bunkers with white sand and silk like greens. The course curves its way around 5 lakes. The recently opened club house with its roof top terrace offers panoramic views of the course and practice area, this is a great addition to a great course.

Well worth a visit and the resort also has plenty of restaurants and bars.

This course is without a doubt one of the toughest courses I have played in my short time as a golfer (term used lightly) but on the same note I would have to say one of the best.
The par three's seem longer than those in England and the one's over water are especially daunting.
Hitting the fairways of the tee is a must as finding your ball in the arid rough is nigh on impossible. Over all it is a very challenging course and I would advise taking more balls than you would at home.

Played ithese 3 courses in early Feb 2012, sunny but a bit chilly due to the wind

Condada - great course, each hole a challenge with either water or sand. Greens quick and true, fairways in good nick - recommend! Infrastructure terrible. Pro shop about 1/2 mile from 1st tee, could only buy course planner from the supermarket! No clubhouse so could not have a beer or shower.

Mar Menor - thought previous reviews about being a round of 2 halves were a bit harsh. Course maintained really well, liked the new holes 13 to 15 around the lake.
Good clubhouse for beers afterwards. No course plans available to buy which was a bit frustrating.

El Valle - greens were very fast, but had to be accurate otherwise you just ran off the green (green keeper obviously was in a mood as some of the placements were incredibly tricky. Very picturesque amongst the various ravines with the landscaping adding to the experience. excellent condition, good clubhouse but no course planner (again). Would recommend as a good challenge after the first few holes which were by far the only boring holes of the 18
