Nice course with some lovely views from certain tees. The 5th and 13th a 'Take a picture' holes. Worth playing, but not much there as in driving range, etc.

January 2014 - Greens, bunkers and fairways in good condition. Apparently the rough cutting machine had been broken for 2 weeks when we were there, and the rough was therefore impossible. The fairways are however quite wide, so the course should have been playing far easier than I found it. Far less people on the course than usual, so for once the round was at an acceptable pace. Difficult to judge value for money as staying at a Pestana Hotel gave us unlimited golf at any of 5 courses, including Silves.

Course has come along nicely since it was first opened in 2005. Greens seemed to be a reasonable pace (probably about 9.5 on Stimp meter like Gramacho and Pinta courses), bunkers were well sanded and looked after and fairways were also well maintained, and took a divot.

What a great course. Not overly long or testing but what fantastic condition with some of the best driving holes I've ever played. Must be the best value on the Algarve at 38 euros. It is a must and I'd recommend it as a great starter to your holiday to start you off.

Amazing how this wonderful course closes for "gestão" on 3 ocasions that I wanted to book.
Wanted to eat lunch on Saturday, but the best the Bar could do was a "Bacon Sandwich" which aparently was left over from an Order.
This is terrible for such an excellent venue.
DO YOU WANT TO SELL THIS PRODUCT?
Make it in such way that people hang around and consume.

Truly wonderful golf course, stunning scenery, beautiful weather and the staff were very friendly in everything they could do. Well worth a visit if in the area.

The course is attractive and a joy to play. although the smog from the local cork factory is a surprise!
I note the comments regarding the use of buggies on he fairways. To be fair to the club some of the fairways were very wet, so it was sensible to abide by this rule.
Of the Pestana courses we played, this was clearly the least popular and less well developed, however the facilities were adequate and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
