Gets better every time I visit
This course, on the face of it, might look like a simple small club in a tiny Norfolk village. In some respects it is when compared to some other courses nearby. But the owners have recently been spending a lot if time and a fair amount of money improving the facilities. A new golf shop, changing facilities and revamped patio area to name a few improvements. The course itself has a wide range of holes of varying degrees of complexity. All are relatively flat, so no hiking up hills required. The course in good condition, although a few of the greens are showing the signs of the recent hit weather. I've played at Mattishall a few times now and each time it's a better course and club house than before. Will definitely play there again soon.Reviewer Rating

Not a lover of 9 hole courses, but this was a well kept little golf course with some very testing holes! Thoroughly enjoyed the challenges on most of the fairways especially the big one as I'm not a big hitter accuracy was paramount.

A forgiving golf course with wide fairways and tidy greens. Excellent for a beginner, or for practise rounds. When the trees between fairways start to grow a bit, the errant drive will land you in more trouble, at the moment, on some holes, easy recovery from other fairways.
