Fantastic course. We played on a windy day which made the already demanding holes even more difficult. Fairways and tee boxes immaculate whilst the greens were amongst the best I have ever seen. Interesting variation of holes and the fact the course is still young means it is rather forgiving to wayward shots. Holes 9,11 and 16 will stick in the memory for a while, whilst the 18th was perhaps the only poor hole as it was a long straight par 5. The quality of the preceeding 17 holes is probably the reason for this - which is a great compliment to the course.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and the driving range facilities were also lovely. Could do with a bigger pro shop/bar area as it still feels a bit temporary. However these are minor complaints for a fantastic course that is hugely challenging yet rewards brave shots.

I played this course last year and didnt enjoy it but having just come back from my second golf trip to QDL I would certainly recommend this course its a bit pricey but very good on the eye with plenty of water to navigate on some holes. I have a high h'cap and started pretty well but once I started to struggle with my driving the course certainly showed me who was boss.

Course is so new that they haven't even produced a strokesaver yet!
Excellent course, great views (take a camera), walkable; unlike some courses in the Algarve. Although we all (group of 24) found the back 9 more difficult than the front 9, this may have been because there were no buggies available and it was 91F when we played at the beginning of October!
I'd like to play this one again - most of the greens have a 10ft change of level, so big swings on putts, and easy to rack up the scores. One of our guys hit a par 3, to win nearest the pin, but walked off with a 6 !!!
The shop and bar area is still far too small - our group of 24 and another of about 10 filled the seating area!

Superb but dear
Laranjal is a championship course. Tight fairways and approaches in terms of lies. Pretty wide fairways. Greens excellentReviewer Rating

Nice course
Complements the North and South courses at Quinta do lago. A more open course but you still need to be accurate. Orange trees and water hazards are all to be found here and of the three courses this is the easier walk but still undulating. Good test and when talking to other golfers seems to be one of the favouritesReviewer Rating

Great course
Buggy is expensive but necessary really. Course fee is high but course is just about worth it. Certainly excellent.(Round played: Mar 2022 - Score: 82 Handicap: 7)

Great condition
Me and my son played here on the 21st December when there were quite a few rain showers. We were the only players on the course. Condition of the course was very good considering the rain, nice challenge and great greens.Reviewer Rating

Great course
This is a pretty special venue. Fairways are as good as many putting greens. Practise facilities perfect. Course challenging but fair. Greens quick and true.(Round played: Nov 2021 - Score: 84 Handicap: 6.8)

Lovely course close to the airport
Conveniently at the end of our long weekend of golf this was the closest to the airport, almost as though we had planned it. It was by no means the last in our thoughts had a fun round with plenty of water and hazards to keep you on your toes.(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 92 Handicap: 20.8)
