One of the best golf courses in Portugal, the greens are very challenging. The only negative is that it can take 5.5 hrs to play.

Thoroughly enjoyable course in very good condition. The course is quite flat but with the contours of the gently rolling land and many ponds and streams well used.
Very small, but immaculately finished clubhouse.
The course was quite empty on the day we played, so with the excellent facilities and quality of the course, it really did feel like millionaire's golf. I played some awful golf that day, but would be very happy to play again at any time.

Tremendous undulating greens and immaculate fairways considering the dosing by the early morning sprinklers. Will certainly be playing this course again.

lovely course although road from Quinta village can be dicey, just give yourself extra time and take it slow, 1st class facilities

I think Laranjal must be up there in my top 5 golf courses. Absolutely superb test of golf.

The course is in a beautiful setting with fairways fringed with fruit bearing orange trees. The presentation is immaculate and the greens are challenging! Although lacking the ostentatiosness of the nearby quinta do lago and oceanic courses.Abit expensive but overall class.

A brand new course, only been open one week when we got to play on it.
Trees and rough still very young so not too much trouble if you're off line. However the water hazards and lay out of the course makes it extremely difficult and testing for any handicap player. The bunkers are white sand and take some getting used to. None of our 4 x ball could master them.
The greens are probably the best I have ever managed to play on, they are very big, with loads of gradients.slopes and like a fine woven carpet.
Shop and bar area are temporary whilst the clubhouse and driving range etc are under construction.
This is definitely a course worth trying to get a round on.

more secluded than the other two Quinta Do Lago courses which is a boys if you don't like too many villa lined fairways. It's up there with the best of the Algarve though and the contoured greens take some beating. They had changed the running order of the holes from my previous visit which was a bit confusing but means the 18th is now outside the clubhouse
