fantastic course
Really nice course although the rough was a tad too long on some holes. the greens are exceptional, this must rank as one of the best municipals in the country. its a fantastic looking course in great condition and just to add a finishing touch the heards of wild dear running across the fairways is a sight to behold. i would highly recommend this course to any level of golfer, very cheap price and really good clubhouse puts the cherry on top of the cake

Sutton- not worth the money
The course is in the worst condition I’ve ever seen it. The fairways are cut longer than what should be the second cut, and we were losing balls on it!! What should have been the second cut was really the rough. There were tractor tracks in the fairways, just left like a trap. The bunkers were a disgrace with weeds growing out of them! We’ve played three other courses so far this year, and all were far superior to this, just what the ground staff have been doing so far is up for debate, other than deliberately narrowing the fairways to save time on the cutting !Reviewer Rating

This course MUST BE amongst the best municipal courses the country. Everything about it is first rate, the fairways are fantastic , the bunkers are kept raked and spotless and the greens, well I haven't seen better greens in a long, long time. All the staff are top drawer. The families of dear are nice to see, they roam all over the place. The clubhouse is beautiful and the staff are friendly. I wid recommend this course to anyone playing golf...truly fantastic place.

Great course and in fantastic condition since the new head greenkeeper started, the greens are pure and quite fast, bunkers are raked and the fairways are well kept...all in all really good.Reviewer Rating

nice course
for a municipal course this is excellent, the fairways ate nicely cut and the semi rough is just right.as for the greens they are lush but quite fast, some lovely holes with plenty of challenges. staff are friendly and the newly built club house is really nice, good beer and food with a really chilled vibe, just what you want after 18 holes.......Fantastic place

Had a nice early round yesterday morning. Sorry to say but the course seemed that wasn't getting the upkeep that it needed. Greens were good, but the grass on the fairways seemed very long, even for the start of October. Course was boggy in parts, but for a council run course and £10 green fees it was ok.

Good course, still some wet areas a round course and grass needs cutting on fairways. But really enjoyed round and a few drink's in the Lodge.
