A reasonable test of golf, plays like an inland links. Good greens, brutal rough but the fairways needed a cut. Friendly welcome in the clubhouse but the place could do with modernising. Good value on a voucher.

What this golf course needs is for a lawn mower to be used..(everywhere ! ) The fairways are what you would expect of fringe rough. Yes you guessed it, the fringe rough right next to the fairway is dense and several inches high. I play off 13 and this is not an open championship golf course with spotters telling you where your ball is. On the odd occassion I had to look around for it on the fairway. Give this golf course a haircut and please don't use the excuse that the weather has been against you as other courses have managed it. I could mention the greens but I guess you already know they are poor and would take longer to remedy. The cutting is a quick win but I guess is indicative of the general neglect for a course that could be so much better.

This course is a course that is good if you have started playing golf as it is not very challenging

Enjoyed the course but the greens were not very good. The fairways were very nice and cut well.
Worth a visit
They have some very nicely placed ponds and bunkers just to keep you on your toes
