What the club says: Based in Greater London, near Dagenham & Romford, The “East End” golf club has over the years, gone from strength to strength as the course has matured. Built to USGA championship standard, the links style course provides a unique challenge to golfers of all levels. Although only 9 holes at present, with 4 tees per hole, it plays with the variety and scope of 18. The owners are very proud of the quality presented by the course, and justifiably feel that the accolade of ‘probably the best greens in Essex’ is well deserved.

Crowlands
I love crowlands, staff are great and friendly.Great for a quick round of 9 after work. Gets talked down every where else I play but the greens are brilliant and a great standard compared to other places(fact) great price for drinks and food also

Great course , great condition considering the weather we’ve had , fairways good , greens good, friendly staff a wonderful 9 holes would thoroughly recommend, you can play 18 if you want from different tees…shall definitely be playing there again….recommend you visit .

Lovely local course.
Lovely local course only nine holes but play off different tee positions to play as 18, course was in good condition with excellent drainage, greens were very good for this time of year, much better than a lot of more expensive courses. We'll done Crowlands Heath.Reviewer Rating

Fairways were in very good condition.
The greens were even better. Very consistent speed.
If you're prone to hooks or slices, use cheap balls, as finding them in the deep rough is nearly impossible... Does help you concentrate, though!
Quick word for the staff there, too... very friendly and welcoming.

Decent greens, fairways in reasonable nick, just need to remember it's a nine hole course so not so much variety of playing as an eighteen but still a reasonable value round.

the course is good overall , but the bunkers are not good,and i didnt see any rakes, you have to keep on the fairway or you will be lucky to find your ball,but good for a small local course.

The corse is well maintained and the greens are very smooth. It's also quite a long 9 hole so you can get you're driver out for most of the holes. We didn't get anything to eat but the food smelt good too so we will next time. Very happy with this course and will return soon

although only 9 holes it is always excellently maintained have played here many times and still believe the greens here are some of the best in Essex and the surrounding areas heavy rough makes keeping the ball on the fairway essential always a challenge for even the most capable of golfers
