Very windy course but fairways and greens playing well.
Enough rough grass/gorse bushes and tricky slopes to make it a difficult course to play.
Views are magnificent and so is flora and forna.
Saw an adder basking on the fairway and lots of skylarks which made it a perfect day listening to their song.

The Cleeve Cloud Golf Course is a fantastic course that offers a beautiful backdrop across the Gloucestershire countryside. The holes can be very challenging and several of them have a blind entry. Apart from the people walking across the tops of the hills and across the course at several points and the noisy sheep situated everywhere and anywhere, this is definitely an enjoyable and challenging course to play.

The best views you will ever experience on a golf course in England. Best played on a fine day as very exposed. Course in reasonable condition considering it is on public land. Greens in very good condition for a public course.

Heaven in the summer; Hell in the winter. You take your life in your own hands walking down the occasional fairway due to crossovers. Some fantastically testing holes.

consistently brilliant experience
Well we were blessed by some fantastic weather 22 degrees, no wind, clear skies, free parking. The greens were perfectly manicured and the fairways, as always, well cut and free parking.Reviewer Rating

great cotswold course , a lynx in the countryside
Difficult, but fair; its a couse built into cleeve hill, first 3 uphill and steep walk to 17th, views spectacular, esp over cheltenham racecourse at 13th green(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 86 Handicap: 14.4)

Super challenge
A great ‘inland links’ style course that creates a different challenge each time you play depending on conditions. You will not get better views around Gloucestershire on a lovely clear day, superb.(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 85 Handicap: 18.2)

this is the best course ever
Don't let anyone tell you this course has got hills on it. yes there are a couple that's all otherwise it is a flat course following the contours of Cleeve Hill and the Cotswolds. Has a putting green but needs a driving range or something to practice at hitting. always dry underfoot here.Reviewer Rating
