Taking into account this is a public course, I wish all public courses in the UK were as nice as this one.

Crandon Gem of County Courses
Crandon Golf Links located in Key Biscayne, Florida is the gem of the Miami-Dade County public courses. It used to host the Seniors (Champions Tour) Tournament for about 15 years and they kept it in pristine shape. Now its a bit neglected due to funding but still a true test of golf. The greens are fast and undulating and protected by strategic bunkers. My normal handicap is 3-5 strokes more when I play this course. The layout is incredible with several holes running alongside Biscayne Bay, walled in by Mangroves. Be prepared to play some of the holes links style with some pitch and runs. When the wind blows of the nearby Atlantic Ocean its a bear on the upwind holes.Reviewer Rating

Crandon Golf is a must experience if you like links golf and seaside holes, albeit flat because its Miami. If the wind blows it can be harrowing. But the layout is challenging and in great shape.

What a shame!!!
This used to be one of my favorite courses in fact I broke 80 on this course but had not played it for about 3 years and I was shocked to see it has gone into such disarray! From tee to green almost all holes in almost unplayable condition. In dire need of a new groundskeeper! Shame on Miami-Dade County to let it go so bad!Reviewer Rating
