Decent Course
Played here on a lovely summer early morning as a two-ball. As per usual in North America, they tried to pair us up with another two ball - Starter said it would be ‘busy and we would wait’, but we didnt. Pace of play was good. Greens had just been sanded so were a little slow but in good condition. Fairways were also well manicured but were a little bare in places due to poor weather during the Spring (freezing rain, cold, warm alternating conditions which have affected many courses in the region). The layout lacks a little imagination in places with a large number of doglegs right although the greens are always well protected by bunkers and have a lot of undulations. There is a fair bit of water which is always in play. Fairways are quite tight from back tees as there are a lot of trees. The woods are all cleared though inside the course perimeter. Nice course, I would recommend but not for me.(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 95 Handicap: 14.3)
