Fantastic Private Course
Played here on a lovely Saturday afternoon as the guest of a member. Practice facilities (complimentary, even for guests) are excellent and staff very friendly. As you would expect for a high level course, there is a bag drop off and enough carts on offer. A well stocked pro shop and excellent dining facilities. The course is excellently manicured (maybe not on a par with Augusta, but it’s what they are going for!), all the woods are cleared and there was hardly a blade of grass out of place. The poor weather in this part of the country in the spring showed only in a few places with some occasional GUR in the fairway, but greens and tees were in excellent condition. The course is well marked and well laid out - if you get the opportunity to play, I strongly recommend it, it is just a little expensive ($125 as a guest).(Round played: Aug 2019 - Score: 85 Handicap: 14.9)
