Still our favourite

Fabulous team at this course, which is always well maintained and presented. Not an easy one, with some lovely gradient, challenging greens and beautiful views across Rutland Water

Superb Course with great views

Everybody here is so friendly. We first played the par 3 course which is a gem and very challenging. The next day we played the championship course. Many of the front 9 holes lead down to the water, meaning a strong right-left sloping on many fairways. The greens are a test, but very true. There are good practice facilities. One minor hitch was that our good rate of play was slowed down by the time we got to the 10th by people playing just the back 9.

A 27 hole treat awaits

A unique 9 hole par 3 accompanies the main course and both are brilliant in layout and playability. Tricky and challenging in parts but the views of Rutland Water are superb and enough to calm a poor game. Clubhouse, practise facilities and hospitality are all excellent. Food is very enjoyable and all is great value for money. Well worth a visit.

Always enjoy playing this course. Course is a real test for you to try and play to your handicap. Has some long par gives and some tough short par 3s recommend to anyone to try the course. You can just turn up and pay and play with out booking a tee time

Potters Golf Society. 29/5/16. A must play course. Lush fairways and true running greens. Be aware of the breeze coming of the reservoir which can come into play on some holes. A challenge to golfers of all levels with each hole having its own character. 88 Strokes. 15 HCP. 35 Points. P.S The club house do a mean bacon cob. Yum Yum.
