Whilst not the longest 9 hole course ever, it is certainly has many interesting features which make each hole a different type of challenge. The course designer has used the contours of the land, the water, and the trees to good effect. Straight hitting is the order of the day. Now my favorite local course.

Nice beginners course, well worth the £9 fee. Greens were a little worn due to the bad weather but the rest of the course is in good nick.

Short, but challenging undulating pay and play course. Two good par threes. Good fairways and greens. The course is open and playable in all weathers. Excellent value for money and well worth a visit. Cheerful and welcoming staff.

very wet with low visability due to heavy fog but overall a great round of golf must be a well recomended course as Neil Warnock Leeds united manager tee'd of infront of us and was close to coming a cropper on the green of the 3rd extra hole as my mate nearly hit his group due to not being able to see the green due to the dense fog

Great value for money. Better than its sister Brandon when its been wet. Well kept. Cafe on site. Optional 3 holes to keep things interesting too. It is a nine hole though but if you don't mind playing same holes twice its perfect

Highly enjoyable & challenging course

The Village is a shortish, undulating 9 hole (or 12 including the three bonus optional ones) course - only two holes go over 300 yards - but what it lacks in distance, it makes up for in sheer character. Plenty of blind tee shots, tricky greens and several opportunities for the brave or foolish to go for glory. Great fun!
