What the club says: Emporda Links: Designed in the style of a classic Scottish seaside layout, the Links Course features dune-flanked fairways, rolling terrain, huge bunkers and also utilises the resort's two large lakes.

Emporda Forest: In the contrast to its sister course, this demanding track is set in classic Mediterranean landscape with manicured, spacious fairways bordered by dense umbrella pines.

some serious money has been well spent here in recent years and it shows. Two fab courses, The Links and Forest, and now a nice on site hotel. I preferred the Forest course but both well worth playing

loved the forest course, some really beautiful holes and both fairways and greens in great condition. Links course equally so if a little less memorable. Accommodation, and food in particular, were also top notch and very good value

Links or Forest

Played with people who had been before but played 'Forest'. There are 4 9 hole coursess. We played red & green apparently this is the 'links' lay out. Playing partner said forest is the nicer lay out. Very wet compared to UK links but flat with plenty of bunkers. Sandwiched between 2 days at PGA Cataluyna probably a bit spoiled & condition & layout of course nowhere near same class. That said had by far my best round here!

First time playing this golf resort situated just 30 miles from French border. 2 courses a Links and a Forest. The conditions were warm and the course set up beautiful with the snow capped Pyrenees in the distant. Greens were fast and true and the water proved a real challenge. The staff were excellent polite and efficient. Can't fault it except for buggy price of €47.

We played this course inbetween our two visits to PGA Catalunya. It is fair to say Emporda's two courses were equal to those at PGA. We played to Forest course first, a were a bit disappointed with the first couple of holes as there were no trees! The damp cold morning didnt help. However from the third hole the sun came out and the holes were simply beautiful. The Forest course is simply stunning.
We played the Links afterwards and it was again beautiful, the holes around the lakes in particular.
We all vowed to definitely go back and play both these courses again. Fantastic.

Excellent course in a beautiful setting. The links course played easy on the day I went round with blue skies overhead and not too many swirls from the wind. We were lucky, however, as play had been called off the previous day because of the wind. The links is modelled on the classic courses you might find in Scotland and Ireland and the designers have done a brilliant job with the layout never feeling unnatural, even if the front nine is significantly less links-like than the back. I will go back at my earliest opportunity.

Another fantastic course in the Costa Brava. We played the Links Course which had exactly the right feel to it. Quite a lot of water which made life interesting when the wind got up. Another must play.

Very very good scenic golf course in Northern Spain that offers a good test for mid to low handicap golfers. I have played it several times and it is always in a good condition and very enjoyable to play.

The links course is great and a real contract to the woodland course at the same club.
The prices are though ab it steep, but don't let that deter you, as it is well worth a visit, however be warned you will need a few balls for the numerous water hazards!!

Awesome! Prob one of the nicest courses i've played. If your over in Spain in this region for a golf holiday, its a must play. The forest course was in superb condition when we played, once you've played the first couple of holes and get into the the forest area its breath taking! The venue has another course as well and thats styled on a links course, and its not a bad effort too, considering your some miles away from the sea!
Worth a visit.
