Tough course to play,but enjoyable. Plenty of water and surrounded by houses and apartments.

Enjoyable course and a good test. Thinking required around the hazards including some water holes. Overall course was in excellent condition, greens ran true. Good practice facility putting green, chipping green, bunker green, driving range.
Contrary to some other reviews, I played Saturday afternoon about 3h45 round not too slow. Also found the facilities reasonable at the clubhouse. Closest course to Alicante old town, definitely will play again.

We are regular visitors to Alicante and really do like this hotel. We came with family (3 generations) and really loved the atmosphere of the hotel and surrounding area. We are not golfers, but there were lots of golfers in the hotel.
It was to a cheap place to stay and there are lower cost hotels within walking distance of the HUSA, however it used to be a 5 star hotel and it does retain many of the aspects that a 5 star hotel provides. I do think that breakfast should be included into the price, particularly as good cafes are just across the road.
We liked the convenience of the bar, our room and balcony, etc
The revolving door at the front may need adjusting, as it does not seem to stop and we had a small child. Hence, we had to her very carful with this door.

The course itself is very good. Fairways were great. The Ruins pretty surreal in the middle of a fairway. For new visitors beware the entrance to this course is extremely difficult to identify, mainly due to a lack of signage and it's location not being where you'd expect given the surroundings.

Absolutely loved this course!
Great staff.
Incredibly had to find the entrance though... SATNAV doesn't send you tothe door so give yourselves enough time and use the road name.

Played this golf end of jan 2010. Surrounded by houses apartments on all sides so quite strange. Appears tight but actually is not. Very long on the Par 4's and 5's. Back nine is much easier than the front 9. Does get busy. Fast greens in good condition. Clubhouse is below average for this type of club. Not "an experience" and much better clubs for the money!!

An excellent course bulit up within the confines of a golfing holiday complex.
Fantastic course, great facilites, tricky holes. However very expensive and you are constantly rushed along by stewards which is great if you want to spend your time on a conveyor belt instead of enjoying a round of golf.
