3 weeks before the Portugal masters I played the course with 2 friends and had a great experience. Greens were very slow disappointingly obviously to protect the course however reviews of n the 2 9's are spot on.
Front nine challenging with some nice holes back 9 is a beast if into a head wind with some beautiful holes. Plenty of water is needed in the summer and fairways definitely need to be hit!!!!!

Long course with back nine that will test any golfer. Greens a lot softer than anticipated due to sandy base and heavy watering due to hot weather.

Could have played better, once in trouble it's was difficult for me to escape, the course is superb it's was everything the brochure said it would be and more, take plenty to drink and enjoy the magnificent scenery and course

A true championship test of golf, particularly the back 9. Brutally tough in the wind we played in. Outstanding facilities and clubhouse.

A lot better golf than Faldo course, home of the Portuguese Masters and for good reason. No dull holes. Lots of water and sand and a great challenge.
