The course is a very well designed testing one. Golfers need to use all clubs around the course with several hazards. Plays extremely long particularly the 7th. Even the shorter par 3 holes have elevated tees or greens and putting is extremely difficult to read.

2 x 9 hole courses. Can play either or both as 9 or 18. You choose. Badger is the older course. Mix of par 3s and short par 4s. Narrow in places. Deer Run is the newer, much longer course, 2 par 5s one 560yds long. Huge greens, lots of landscaping, water etc. Have played regularly on both courses during 2011 and can recommend. Greens usually in very good condition, cheap driving range and good bar/restaurant. Excellent value.

Two separate 9's here. The smaller 9 is more of a municipal 9 holes with driveable par 4's but the greens would not be out of place at a top club. The big 9 is based is an American design and is a superb layout. It has 2 sets of tees for each hole so 18 can be played on it. There are water hazards, well-placed bunkers and huge greens. When I say huge, I mean huge. I would say 2 of them are between 70 and 90 yards long and 1 even has 5 tiers! This comes on the monster 560 yard uphill par 5. If you par it you are playing well. This course also offers excellent views of the Shropshire and North Herefordshire hills. According to my playing partner it's also a safe distance to view Leominster, whatever that means!
