Two courses in one.
Always a thoroughly enjoyable course to play with 9 holes of moorland with uneven lies and grazing sheep, horses and cattle to negotiate followed by 9 holes of beautifully manicured parkland. A must for whenever we are staying in Devon.Reviewer Rating

I love being a member of this unique golf club. The course is a test for both high and low handicapped players. A warm welcome is always delivered.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 101 Handicap: 28)

A game of two halves
A game of two halves is normally a phrase used by soccer pundits, However at Wrangaton an 1895 club situated on the edge of Dartmoor in South Devon, that is exactly what you get.The front 9 is played on Moorland often shared by cattle sheep and horses. With its undulating fairways, rocks , bracken and gorse the course provides a challenge for golfers of all abilities. There are also excellent views of the surrounding Devon landscape. All change on the back nine where you will find a a more traditional Parkland course not without its own challenges. In the winter months it also provides a welcome relief from the exposed front nine being more sheltered.During the spring the mass carpets of Blue Bells in the adjoining woodland ls a sight to behold. What ever your ability you will enjoy sites and challenges this course has to offer.

Amazing place and we played in gale force winds so it was a bit tricky but enjoyed the experience
If I'm back in that part of the world would definitely play again

Front nine still suffering from rain - very waterlogged in places making the ground very soft, and ground strokes tricky. Back 9 always a pleasure to play!
