At this moment in time woodham is the course in the north east been alot or money spent on it drainage been the main thing it's in fantastic condition big thanks to greenkeeping staff ????????best layout course every hole is different people are always friendly well stocked pro shop ???????? always a pleasure to play it ?? score 84Reviewer Rating

First visit to woodham golf club my first impression was what a great looking course ,well looked after and great hospitality. The greens were in perfect condition and would definatley reutun

Great Course
Course was in good condition given the weather, couple of temporary greens and tees, but only charged winter rates. This is one of my favourite courses in County Durham and well worth a visit.(Round played: Apr 2018 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.3)

Lovely Course
One of my favourite courses in County Durham. Some great holes, with some serious water hazards. Strategic golf, not just a driver off the tee. Definitely worth playing, and a great clubhouse.(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 13.2)

After being re-opened after a 8 month closure all the necessary works are being done to make it a fantastic course. Drainage works are continuing to improve the water that once lay. Greens and Fairways have undergone treatments. Taking into account the closure and on-going works it would be fitting to say this course will take off at a high standard in good time. The prices reflect that of the location, well worth the money.

A very enjoyable course to play. Yes it felt like the course beat me about 16-2 but at the end I really wanted to go out and take it on again to try and get my own back!! The setting is beautiful. It is set in some very mature woodland and has a variety of natural hazards as you go around from slopes, to streams, to ponds to those damn trees. It feels like every hole has a different challenge to it but it also feels like the course overall is part of the challenge. It lulls you with some nice open fairways, then it intimidates you with some narrow and complicated drives, then it introduces you to some water, it throws up lots of blind shots, then some ponds and for me culminates with the 15th which is a complete bugger for the casual golfer like myself. This is definitely a course for the better golfer to take on as a whole, but for the likes of me it is a great course because you can take it on hole by hole and be satisfied if you do yourself justice on any of them. I really do want to play it again now I know whats in store and hopefully next time i'll come off only beaten about 12-6 and not having lost a dozen balls in the process.

Played here quiet a few times over the last few years. The course when we played on 13/7/13 was in excellent condition the only let down on this occasion was that the green although looking good were soft and bumpy.
Clubhouse facilities and staff excellent and club pro very helpful.

Played a society game here on 14.7.2012. We were all very impressed by not only by the course but the well stocked pro shop. The course is a must at 10 pounds for 18 holes of golf. The course guide from the shop is also a must for anyone playing here for the first time as some of the streams and ponds can not be seen from a distance as we soon found out. Challenging 127yd par three surounded by sand and rough on the back nine along with a few water holes, choose your shots wisely on these. Fantastic value on a brilliant course, fairways and greens spot on. We will be back first chance we get.

I played this course during the winter and just recently, booked through teeoff.com, good value for money, and the membership price is reasonable. Lovely vast course, love the area, if I lived here I would not hesitate to be a member. This has to be my second best course. The pro shop and clubhouse are top class and the food is nice too. The equipment for cleaning your shoes are just little touches that make it a top class club.

Excellent course, one of my favourites in the area. Great variation of holes and superb greens. The back 9 is one of the most challenging in the north east with 5 holes having water to carry and the formidable par 3 17th.
Unfortunately it is not an all year course. Drainage is very poor. No fault to the greenkeepers, just the fact that the course is built on clay. Go in the summer months though and you'll have a great time

Lovely Parkland course with mature trees and soft but still quite quick greens.
Friendly bunch and take 2 4 1 vouchers so cost about £11 each midweek .
Not too long but varied holes with a few bits of water and soem nicely placed bunkers.
