Wokefield Park has an 18 hole, 6,996 yard championship golf course designed to USGA standards. This superb parkland layout boasts elevated tees, mature trees, streams and nine lakes providing a challenging game to golfers of all standards in a beautiful countryside setting.

d+with+both+my+room+and+the+hideous+golf
+course.+My+room+was+clean+but+the+bed+w

e+you+put+the+room+key+to+switch+on+the+
lights+was+broken+and+the+only+lights+th
at+worked+were+the+bathroom+and+by+room+
door.+The+bathroom+was+another+level%2C+
the+toilet+seat+had+a+mind+of+its+own%2C
+the+shower+door+only+opened+outwards+so
+every+time+I+put+the+shower+on+and+adju
sted+it+for+the+right+heat+I+got+soaked+
as+well+as+the+bathroom+itself.+Then+the
+shower+head+was+spraying+everywhere+apa
rt+from+where+I+wanted+it+to+spray%2C+on
+me%21%21+The+pictures+of+rooms+on+the+w
ebsite+are+of+the+rooms+in+the+mansion+h

+out+of+a+field%2C+well+the+trampling+ca

Course worth visiting
The course is recovering from a very wet winter but the greens are suffering from an infestations of moss and are in a very poor condition the bunkers are also in poor condition overall the course is looking a bit scruffy.Reviewer Rating

The course has suffered a lot from the recent weather conditions as well as a lot of heavy traffic and needs a bit more care and attention.
A lot of the pin were in areas of the greens that had a lot of wear and tear and possibly in one position for far too long.

Played Wokefield 2/3 August. Was`nt overly impressed by the conditions of the course. Fairways were hard and not much grass,( understood with not a lot of rain), but the greens were in a terrible condition on most of them. Surely they should be watering them and a lot had dry mud patches. My local course, Woodlands in Bristol, is by far in better condition, and for a fraction of the price. Accomodation cannot be faulted, and practice facilities were good. But overall, not in a hurry to go back unless it`s rainy. Ha ha.

Played golf at Wokefield Sat 2/8/25 and Sun 3/8/25. Although the accomadation, bar, restaurants and grounds of Wokefield were very nice and pristeen, I could not say the same thing about the golf course. I know there has`nt been an abundant of rain, but the course was like playing off concrete. Hardly any grass on the fairways, and the greens were a lot to be desired. ( Could do with some love and attention). My local course,( Woodlands in Bristol) is in a far better condition than Wokefield costing a fraction of the price to play.

Well worth a visiting three changing course
The course is suffering from the very dry conditions at the moment the seventh is in particularly poor state on the approach and around the green lots bear lies in fairwaysReviewer Rating

Good layout but dry conditions
This is a challenging course with a lot of well placed fairway bunkers to catch you out. The course was very dry with the greens and fairways in need of watering.Pretty slow too. We played 2 rounds which both took 5 hours.

LONG course, can be very busy and slow
Long course, overpriced, but a good variety of good, especially the 12th (par 3). I’ve played near- 5 hour rounds here as it’s over-booked and the club overprices itself.Reviewer Rating
