Friendly, fun golf course

Really friendly welcoming staff. Good prices. Fun golf course with some water hazards to keep you on your toes. Flat in places but keeps it interesting. Bar staff helpful and welcoming. Great food/snack prices in the bar. A good day out.

Wishaw west midlands

A very cold frosty day at Wishaw all temps but course playing fine for winter golf some nice sun as the day moved on and some good scores in our group of eight

First cold day of the year only one temp green course in great condition fairways and green very good tee box’s showing a little wear from the frost and damp combination overall very good

Good reception, excellent course

Course was set up fantastically well. The greens are immaculate and all staff were very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble

Another course to say ive played.

A friend and I have made it our goal to try a few more clubs around the West Midlands area and Wishaw was a club we came across while looking online.

First impressions were good, nice practice area for putting and chipping. Smallest changing rooms ive ever been in, but clean and tidy, all youre after really!

We played from the yellow tees and were surprised when the first green had been hollotined. We were not made aware before we began our round but thankfully this was the only green effected.

The course itself is interesting. I feel with a little bit more attention it could be a real gem. Hole 11 stood out, the hazard in front of the green was seriously lacking in water. The grass sides were also very overgrown. With a bit of a tidy up and some water the hole would look amazing.

The course was challenging without being unplayable. Neither of us performed well and struggled into a strong wind for a lot of the holes.

Its a course i would recommend someone play, but i feel it lacked a bit of personality and some holes were placed just for the sake of it, rather than being thought out well.

Great Course

Great Course - well laid out with some interesting holes and small greens. Challenging ponds that make you think and plan shots. Good to see course is looking to add more challenges in on some of the easier holes.

Fantastic course

His is a real test although today there was a society of old bastards I. For t off me and they refused to let me through so it took a lot longer than I would have liked

Played the course and sorry to say the greens were bad compared to other courses including municipals.
The greens were rock hard so pitch and run only!
Lots of rough brown areas on the greens.
Needs a good watering and some TLC.
