Since a new head greenkeeper took over, the course has continued to improve and is now in excellent condition. The greens, in particular, are unrecognisable from their condition a few years ago and, with green fees modestly priced, the course represents superb value for money.Staff are friendly. Car parking is abundant.

Greens fantastic for october!! been playing here on and off for 7 years and never seen the greens and course so good, highly recommend, well done to all staff.

As a beginner i really enjoyed the course as the holes are relatively short, which is a bonus as im trying to improve my drive! Will be visiting again!

Staff are very Good, Course has improved over the last 2 years since drainage work was completed, Greens are great, bunkers are in much better condition than in the past.

i play here most weeks after work ,love it ,think it could do with a hand full of fairway bunkers putting in ,and for under £10 around its great ,,with out sounding like i dress the best ,lets have abit more dress code hey , was there not an old sign there ones that said NO SHOES NO GAME ,,

I play the course every week. It's not the longest having only 2 par 4's which are in excess of 400 yards, but it's still a test of golf. The green staff have done some great work since January, the course is currently in fantastic condition and I'm sure it will only get better. Would highly recommend a round.

An excellently maintained and challenging course. Played for £7.50 in the afternoon, worth at least £20 for a 18 hole course that well kept. The fairway grass is just a little long, the greens are near perfect. Absolutely agree this is a course all about club selection more than distance, which I feel makes it more rewarding when you get it right. Will be playing here a lot more, this course is without doubt a gem! Great for all types of players.

I usually leave a review every 3-4 months. What a fantastic course William Wroe is turning into! The course keeps going from strength to strength. The Greens have been excellent since the start of the season. Very pleased to be part of the membership here. for £475 a year i can say i get excellent value for money. A fantastic place to play golf and find it thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you for your hard work. Keep it up!

Very enjoyable round of golf. Greens superb (better than many private courses in the area), course very interesting and challenging and the staff could not be more pleasant. All for a very reasonable price. Definately worth a recommendation.

Tony G.... Are you for real I play there all the time and since they have employed a new exceptional head greenkeeper the place has been transformed from the dump it was, the greens are the best I can remember the new rough areas give the course some much needed definition. I'm sure it won't be long before this guy is head hunted which will be our loss so don't give a bad review on a bad round of golf!!!!!
