What the club says: Whitsand Bay Golf Club was established in 1905 and hosts a fabulous 18 hole course. Set on a cliff-top overlooking Whitsand Bay, the par 70, links style course offers golfers some of the most magnificent views in the West Country. Now under the ownership of the Antony Estate, constant course improvements and an ecological approach to course management have led to the club winning the inaugural England Golf 2021 'Sustainability' award.

Not on a windy day!!
Certainly worth a visit but not on a windy day as I did. Took about 5 holes to be able to play the wind coming off the sea. Had a warm welcome from the bar staff and a few locals. Course not busy on a Monday in June, might be a different story in the school holidays. The course is a challenge with some small greens which are in excellent condition. Glad I played it not sure if I will return after being beaten up by the weather.Reviewer Rating

Great course. Be careful of the sea breeze
Brilliant course, excellent views. Well worth a crack at it, some difficult holes and some fairly forgiving sections of the course for those who aren't as advanced in golf (like me)(Round played: Aug 2021 - Score: 123 Handicap: 43)

Good Course
I have only played the course once and i really enjoyed it. Tough par three's especially off the whites. Looks like a fair bit of work going on. The bar is in a terrapin but it works really well and San Miguel happy days.Reviewer Rating

The tee boxes were the only downside of the day as I feel they could have been in a better condition.
Wouldn't hesitate to return and play here next time I'm in the area.

Enjoyed the course but disappointing customer service
Came to Cornwall for a weekend away and played twice at this beautiful course, challenging but with stunning views. Overall had a good experience with the golf course and club house, unfortunately was spoiled slightly when wanting to return an unused item to the club shop, and was told it ‘wasn’t the done thing’ and made to feel very uncomfortable. Considering we had already spent £200 here this weekend we would have hoped for more understanding. We were planning to stay for lunch but sadly did not feel comfortable enough to stay. It is a shame as overall we thoroughly enjoyed the course but unsure if we would return again.Reviewer Rating

Had a round while on holiday. Stunning scenery . Quite a tight course if your shots tend to be a bit wayward.Reviewer Rating

Superb tight course
I played this course in the twilght heat of july. Some very memorable holes especially the short part three third hole where the greens is hidden in a sort of cover.
Sadly there's not much practice facilities there is however new changing rooms and showers which were very clean overall very good.

It is not Royal County Down, but I never played a course with such a good value for money (25 £ regular, 15 £ after 4pm. The new nice clubhouse and very friendly people let us enjoy Whitsand Bay.

As has been said before this is not the longest course but on a windy day it is a true test of golf. My favourite hole was the third with the green fashioned in a bomb crater, definitely a marmite hole!
The club does not have the most Upton date facilities but this is more than made up by the friendly and accommodating staff.
They offer excellent food in the linked hotel and offer excellent value for money.
If you are in the area and are looking for a great value round of golf you won't go far wrong.
