What the club says: Designed by six - times open champion, Harry Vardon, Looe Golf Club is set around an area of quite breathtaking beauty.
The fantastic views from the course are stunning from all areas of play provding views of the peaks of Dartmoor and the Tamar estuary to Looe Island and Cornish countryside and Moors.

Great course
Played the course while on holiday and found it to be a little gem. We were made welcome the moment we entered the clubhouse and throughout the round . The views from the course are fabulous. We will certainly be back.Reviewer Rating

Good test
Good test for the average golfer. Certainly proves how accurate one?sgolf is!
Greens were good but the fairways were a little worn.
Views were wonderful - quite distracting

Lovely course and friendly people. Greens were true. Fairways in good condition although there were bare patches of rocks.

First visit
First visit played the back 9 and it was for the time of year in good condition greens were slow but look good for the cominf season\Greens were challenging small targets\Professional was very helpful and informative\Great sandwich after my game with a pint of Doombar\Looking forward to summerReviewer Rating

Looe
The course had been affected by the very dry weather and some of the greens were in poor condition; however, the course was well set out with some great views over the cornish coast. I will play this again when it has had a chance to repair.(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 93 Handicap: 16.2)

Very nice course with stunning views, the greens were of a good standard. Played the course last year and it seems in better condition this year.

Very friendly course. Deceptively difficult. If playing well can score low but have to use the land a lot and know how to play your way around. Helps to know the course. The rough is very rough! Can easily score an 8 if you're not careful.

Wouldn't recommend this course.
Bunkers have never been raked.
Greens are mossy and bare
Overall the course is well laid out but lacks care.
The pro we spoke to for the booking was pleasant and helpful as was the pro the day before when we popped in for a peek.
On the day of the round it was completely different, very unwelcoming staff and we felt like we were an intruding burden.
Even in the clubhouse after our round it was difficult to start a conversation.

I Found This To Be One Of The Nicest Courses I Have Played. The Views Were Breath Taking. You Will Not Be Disappointed By This Course. I Will Be Teeing Off Again In The Near Future.

Whilst the course is designed to the highest standards, and has beautiful views around,the quality of course was under par to what I had hoped and indeed played some years ago. Great day out, but I would question wishing to join as a member

Great course, greens weren't bad for this time of year but the member we played with said they are no better in the summer months. Played it on a Groupon so great value. Will be back,

Probably the worst greens I have played on in years. They have been getting worse over the last three years....very lumpy and patchy with lots of bald spots. Rest of the course is pretty good.

Really enjoyable course and we'll presented, held really well despite recent storms. Clubhouse baguettes probably one of the best I've ever had.

The course was in excellent condition, the grens were very well maintained. The staff were friendly, extremely helpful and everything was done with a smile. The only part that I could fault is that a lot of the tees were blind drives as you could not see the pin. Other than absolutly fabulous.
