Municipal Golf Course
Just played my first ever 9 holes here. It’s a bit run down and one or two of the greens were a bit dried out BUT for learners it is a great facility. Inexpensive, relaxed and not somewhere you’d worry about the odd divot. Some variety re length and a few tricky bunkers. I’ll definitely be going here a few times to gain consistency. Probably a bit short for pros

Granted, this is a municipal golf course, but having said this, the greens are in incredibly poor condition, and it is best described as putting on hay or straw, particularly in summer months. I hadn't played this course for about 6 years until today, and nothing has changed. The tees are also in very poor condition, and are made by using some felt. This poses problems for anyone who usually uses a tee for their first shot. Having said all this, it's still a good course for practising your short game; but for anyone who wants to increase the standard of their putting, the putting green outside the shop/cafe would suffice.
