What the club says: A picturesque 18 hole course with its tree lined fairways and water hazards provides a real challenge to golfers of all abilities.
The river, lakes and streams mean that water can come into play on eleven of the holes. Mature trees line many of the fairways and accuracy off the tee is a must, particularly on the front nine.
The flat terrain means that the walking is easy, however buggies are available for hire.

Good course but not at it's best
First time playing this course. Friendly welcome in the clubhouse and Pro Shop. Tasty bacon barn and coffee to start the day. Good practice facilities, large putting green. Course looking a bit dry, fairway very bare in places. Greens good though, rolled really well. Some nice looking holes, fairly easy walk round. A few blind holes and doglegs to negotiate, certainly not a driver off every hole. Certainly worth playing for sure. Would like to play again when more grass on the fairways.Reviewer Rating

Played yesterday in an open mixed completion. The course condition was superb , fast true and tricky greens, beautiful countryside and many interesting and challenging jokes. We had travelled up from Bedfordshire to play and the warm welcome, excellent food and company made this a day to remember. Thank you Joyce and Tony for organising……will be back next year

Lovely place, looked after by all the staff. The captain came and spoke to us, what a gentleman. Course in superb condition.

Excellent course, we'll be back!
We played on a busy bank holiday Monday but the pace was really good. The course is really tricky so you have to think about your tee shots to avoid the trouble but also to give you the right angle to the green. On the day we played the pins were in really tight positions on some small greens, so it made it tough but enjoyable. It was in excellent condition so we'll definitely be back.Reviewer Rating

Stunning course!!
Course in stunning condition, considering the dry weather we have had the last few weeks the greens are running true and quick but soft!, well worth a visit and will be back next couple weeks,(Round played: Jul 2018 - Score: 94 Handicap: 22.8)

Course has deteriorated since the last time I played. Greens look nice but are slow. Rough too penalising which resulted in a long round.

Intersting course for plotters
Interesting and well manicured course suitable for shorter hitters and plotters, you'll need a planner or sat nav on some holes as it's not clear where some of the greens are. greens were slow but ran true.(Round played: Jun 2017 - Score: 89 Handicap: 14.1)

Excellent greens, some of the best I have played all year. Not too tasking a walk. A true test for all abilities. I have played it a few times this year and will definitely be going back.

A hidden gem of a course, better than we expected in very good condition and well presented. Good venue for a Golf Society giving everyone a fair chance you have to think and ,manage your way round.
The staff are very friendly and welcoming, food good and plentiful, good value for money, would recommend and we will be back for another visit.
