Good course layer out very well , facilities good with a good bar and lounge area , driving range being constructed and the greens were in good condition

Great value, ?20 all week including weekends. Greens in quite good condition, fairways average. Some interesting holes within pleasant surroundings. Small but well stocked pro shop. Driving range undergoing renovation at this time.

Course was excellent, great nick, playing again in a couple of weeks
Only problem was that we were behind 3 really slow, poor players who spent far too long looking for lost balls and wouldn't play us through

wide fairways offer a chance for new players, though the fairway bunkers will catch out some, course played very well with greens in good condition.

Course in very good condition considering we not had much rain recently. Lovely food and good service. Played a few times before and will be playing again. If you miss the fairway and first cut the rough is tough to get out. That is only if you find your ball.

Wellshurst Golf Club is currently undergoing major improvements work to the Golf Range, which means the usual views across the countryside are obscured, but this doesn't affect the friendly welcome and good facilities of the club house itself. The breakfast was excellent value and tasty.
The course itself was recently changed around which was rather confusing when trying to relate to an older map of the course. The course itself is fairly challenging at times but eminently playable by most golfers.
Today there was a seniors four ball competition and we were warned that play might be slow at times. That warning was more than warranted as we became very frustrated, at one stage there 10 players either playing or waiting to play on one hole. Our round took 4 1/2 hours and could have been done in an hour less. This was something that could have been better anticipated by the club and alternative measures put in place to ease the congestion.

course in good nick greens were a bit woolly needed a hair cut
