Dreadful
As a greenkeeper myself I like to go out and play the other courses local to me. Me and my father played a couple years ago and what can I say it was in a right state back then so we fancied giving it another go…Well first thing we noticed the holes clearly hadn’t been changed for over a week as you could see the wear around the pin but out that aside if you actually manage to put across it because they were so slow you’d be better using your driver to put with
Second thing the tees were incredibly unlevel there wasn’t a single flat spot to play your shot off of.
There’s uncapped drainage lines
Some of the bunkers have shuttering round the edges that has rotten away and just looks atrocious yet alone god save you if your ball lands against it. The ‘greenkeepers’ have sprayed weed killer round the bunker edges which has killed the grass
There were grass clippings left all over the tees
None of the ball washers had water in them
The buggy that we were given was covered in mud inside and out
Bunkers hardly had any sand in any of them
Just overall a course that has been very poorly maintained even if you have ‘budget’ issues you still present the course to a standard you’re happy with and that paying customers should be happy with as a greenkeeper myself it is incredibly embarrassing that a place like this even exists.

Don't believe their Ad
They advertise one price but when you book they don't tell you when you arrive to play that they will charge you more. No apology. Pay or go elsewhere. Course in ok condition except around the greens is awful and the greens are bumpy and patchy. Won't be rushing back anytime soon.Reviewer Rating

Played the course over 6 weeks ago when spiked and sanded and it's still in the same condition. Greens very sandy and holes all over the place. Fairways are in fairly good Nick but the tea boxes need work.
For only ?20, it's not too bad but needs a lot of love and care

Course usually very nice to play this time of year. However, green today in poor condition - have they been spiked/cored recently? If so, they've not been watered and as a result the greens very lumpy and bumpy

Got stuck behind a Seniors day which in all fairness we were told about prior to booking. course was very muddy and in need of some TLC.

Course extremely saturated despite having had no rain for some weeks. Facilities ok. Green fee ok but only due to poor conditions of course. Have enjoyed playing here before but not for some time due too the poor drainage. Would go back but not until there has been a drought.

Very wet- There had been a lot of rain, but the drainage work done over the last few years hasn't really worked.

Despite there being little rain in the last month, the course was extremely boggy. The greens, however were very good and true. There are some testing holes, the first, thirteenth and sixteenth requiring accuracy off the tee. The par 4 fifteenth is a great hole! Disappointed to find that the compressed air guns were out of action and the ball washers are in need of an upgrade.
