Warrington's a good challenge, but throws up lots of opportunities for pars and birdies.

Very well presented course...fairways were open and well manicured around the tree bases. Green were very true.

Having played the course a few times before it affirmed my liking for the place. The greens were really quick today and had quite a few putts that ran on five foot past the hole. The only negative thing is that they have some tee mats still on which was disappointing. Love the place apart from that.

Although the greens were heavily sanded,it was still very enjoyable. I would love to play there during the summer to see how fast the greens really are.

Our society were all very disappointed with every tee being an astroturf mat (difficult to get tee in), and all greens being in play but roped off upto 30 to 40 yards short and wide. Taking 3 clubs 50 yards from your trolley towards the green was the norm. The course was dry, the conditions were dry, but we were not told of these restrictions. On complaining was just fobbed off with "we'll bear it in mind to actually tell people in future". A good course presented awfully, and every society member complained. This is the first bad review we have ever written. Avoid this course, unless its June/ July !!

Played the course on a dull day in February. ..a couple of greens where very wet...but apart from that the rest ran true for this time of year. ..good interesting layout. ..well maintained. ..had a sandwich in the club house which was very enjoyable. .great winter course always a lot dryer than most courses in the north west area....will be returning soon !

Course in lovely condition considering time of year and amount of rain recently.Greens true.Very reasonable prices for food/drink afterwards in lounge

Warrington is a very good course. We played at the end of December on the day the storm blew. The rain had drained away overnight to leave the course pretty much bone dry. I can't believe I haven't heard of this course from other local golfers, it's a gem! Not the fastest greens in the county but well looked after. The fairways are unbelievable, it's almost like playing a summer course. The deal we got was amazing and that included a tasty quality breakfast and I mean quality. It has more character than any other course I have ever played in the North West. The staff are magnificent too.
