Great course for beginners but challenging enough for low handicapped golfers. Reasonable price and friendly welcome in the clubhouse

I would recommend that any one coming to vivary park does not come thinking that it is easy because of the length of the course It is a testing course that requires you to be very accurate due to the narrowness of the fairways and unlimited trees that line them

Nice course in central Taunton
For someone returning to golf after a long break (30+yrs) l found Vivary Park a good course, which suited me, as I?d categorise me as a beginner again. The receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, as were the players on course when l missed the sign directing you from the fourth green to the fifth teeReviewer Rating

A very tight course

Overpriced
Course was not particularly well maintained - fairways looked like they hadn't seen a mower in a while.Quite short, albeit tight - if you're confident with your long irons though shouldn't be much of a challenge. The two par 5s are very reachable in 2.
Greens are reasonably interesting however, although not very fast.

Narrow tough course, anything not straight will be under the trees which is a bit of a nightmare to find with all the leaves. Gives a good challenge which can be fun. Greens in poor condition. Lack of etiquette too.

Well kept, tough holes with water
