What the club says: As with all links golf the difficulty is with the wind, guaranteeing the golf course plays differently almost every day. The greens are quick all year round and the course guaranteed to be in great condition 360 days a year. The fairways are tightly cut and the rough penal in places, but fair, along with many strategically placed bunkers that are ready to swallow up golf balls. Trevose ensures you use almost every club in your bag and the experience is memorable, hence the number of top amateurs and professionals that choose to play the course and keep returning.

Tremendous Trevose
Can’t really say enough good things about the experience. The members love this place and are rightly proud of it. Front nine slightly easier to score on. Views are superb. You must manage your ball but everything is in front of you so you can’t complain if you balls up????(Round played: Oct 2020 - Score: 91 Handicap: 11.7)

Terrific scenery & place to play

Stunning Links
A great links course with amazing views.Obviously depending on how strong the wind blows will determined how tough the course plays.
The fairways are fairly wide so its a great course for players of all abilities. The greens are super fast and sometimes easy targets but the pace is the real defense.
The bunkering is designed as such so it will catch a lot of players out both off the tee and around the green.
A great fun course to play in great condition and superb views.

Beautiful and Outstanding Course
This is one of the most challenging and beautiful golf courese I have ever had the pleasure of playing. Good shots are rewarded, and many times the views around the course negate the feeling of a bad shot. We stayed at one of the on site lodges and it was tremendous, dinner in the restaurant is not to be missed. The course was in fantastic condition, would play here every week, if I lived closer....(Round played: Sep 2019 - Score: 84 Handicap: 8.3)

super course the 4th green is the best view in the world
Played during some parched weather so would love to play again when more lush as i'm sure it would look even better.Trevor Ashton the starter was so friendly and helpful and so knowledgeable about Trevose and many other courses so do say 'hello'.
The course heading down to the beach on 4 is just amazing. Then it reminds me of Nefyn's holes which are set back from the sea too.
The holes are all of a high quality - great looking/super greens. But nothing quirky/sensational/standout like St Enodoc. Just to say all holes are great.
I found the back nine easier suiting a natural drawer of the ball (+2 for the nine).
Like I said on my St Enodoc review if you come down this neck of the woods you simply must play St Enodoc, Trevose and Saunton (East) - all great courses. Hard to pick a favourite as all 3 so different. Go do it - Took 4 hours to drive to St Enodic (with a lunch stop from the midlands) - 3 rounds 2 nights you won;t be disappointed.
There is some amazing looking accommodating on site but never go a chance to check it out as had a 90 minute drive to Croyde to play Saunton on day 3

Glorious
Spent two days, each of 36 holes at Trevose GC. The accommodation, we stayed in one of their Lodges, the course and the hospitality we?re truly first class. The 1st and 18th can be a bit nervy as you are playing across a road and waiting for a gap in the traffic but the other holes provide lots of challenges. Many bunkers at average driving distances create their own problems but the sand in them gives you every chance of getting out. I think my party (6) may be returning next year. More than worth the cost and travelling time.

Beautiful!!

Fantastic course
This is a links course with most of the holes showing what is in front of you. There are bunkers that need to be avoided, but the fairways are wide and in excellent condition. The greens were true and would accept a ball with short and mid irons. There were several short par 4's that long hitters could reach, if these could be stretched that would enhance the layout. There are three par 3's which are varying lengths Overall this is a course that needs some wind to protect it from good scores. The clubhouse is very pretty and has super views.

I’d say it’s a little expensive, not totally convinced it’s in the English top 100 but it’s not far off, it’s a nice introduction to links golf and worth a visit.

Great course worth visiting
Great welcome from all the club staff. Fairways in great condition but felt greens had been left in anticipation of an upcoming three day event. Enjoyed the course and nice to be able to stay onsite.

Good course for practice
OK course for practice. Played the championship course the day before and decided to try the Headland course, felt expensive at £29 a round for a course that is very limited and could only be used for practice.(Round played: Sep 2018 - Score: 52 Handicap: )

A great links course
Great layout, fast conditions on a hot day, good pace on the greens. A tough but fair track.
