What The Club Says
Designed by former World No.1 Laura Davies and course designer David Walker, Sutton Green offer prestige golf on a private and secluded course.
Since opening in 1994, extensive investment has been made on the course and in the clubhouse. A state of the art computer controlled irrigation system ensures the tees, greens and fairways remain in perfect condition. The membership of Sutton Green Club has been restricted to 600 members to avoid over crowding and to provide relaxed playing conditions for all members and their guests throughout the week.
Sutton Green provides an opportunity for golfing excellence at an affordable price. We welcome enquires for membership and a very warm welcome awaits our visitors.

Course is in fantastic condition, tee boxes and greens are perfect. It’s enough of a challenge measuring 6000 yards of the blues, and doesn’t have a lot of foot traffic eitherReviewer Rating

Interesting Course
Long course with some very interesting holes, staff very friendly, some of the fairways were a quite dry and very hard whereas other were green , but this is probably due to very hot weather recentlyReviewer Rating

Facilities
First visit, but a little disappointed with the facilities. Tee time was 14:30. Club house closed for refurbishment, therefore no chance of a drink before or after our game, however the halfway house we were told was open. When we reached the halfway house, it was closed although there were a number of people on the course. All the ball washing facilities were empty and guess what, when we got back to the club house, it was all locked up, so no chance of using the toilet.Reviewer Rating

Played well considering in late December
Great challenging course. Course good condition considering wintry conditions - though a bit 'claggy' in quite a few places. Great to see no temporary greens!Reviewer Rating

Fairways !
Have played Sutton Green numerous times, whilst it is a very nice pretty course, the fairways do NOT drain very well and much it heavily damp and a bit muddy. That said the greens were well maintained and not a problem. I would recommend but not for winter months.Reviewer Rating

Fabulous greens!
Played Sutton Green in pretty wet weather yesterday and whilst the course was generally showing the strain of a lot of water in a short period (esp. the bunkers), it remained very playable, however the greens were outstanding considering the weather. Somehow they were pretty firm still and running beautifully, so much so the speed caught us out a few times! The layout is reasonably varied and interesting, albeit a little short at times and quite open, but that will suit the average club golfer. We had a warm welcome and the facilities were decent. Some bunkers were quite stony and need attention. Overall we enjoyed it and will return, in particular for the greens.Reviewer Rating
