Love this course very hilly lots of long par fives to look forward too and some dynamite tee positions

Course in great nick even though we had a shed load of rain the night before, bunkers were a little hard(I was in lots of them) but greens good and true.

Most interesting golf course I've ever played, great for golf society, the group I played with have not stopped talking about it. Will be booking again to play in the summer.

Played this course as part of a golf society, everyone loved it. The most interesting golf course I've ever played the 2nd and 13th will take you're breath away overall it's superb.

A wonderful underated course which I played the other day and despite torrential rain for days and a lot of standing water all of the greens were in service and played very well. Most other courses were on temporaries. They have a lot to learn from Stockwood.

Can't say more this is superb!!! Beautiful land, holes'friendly staff,good food membership greAt drainage no other course in Bristol drains as well as this is built on rock etc..

Fantastic golf coursen, beautiful Land great food challenging and superb holes driving range and buggys good pro shop nice staff must go I love it so much I upgraded to a gold member (there are other membership available)

I played this course easly Sept '11 and really enjoyed it. Great variety in the holes, good greens and really friendly staff.
My dad found it a bit hard going with the ups and downs but he's not at his peak! When we go back it will involve buggy hire!

Well I did go back. The course is still in excellent condition for a pay-as-you-play course and yes it still eats golf balls. if you are ever in the srea...go play this course

Don't be mislead by thinking this is a cheap ordinary pay-as-play course. I think this is a little hidden gem. Although not very long it was a personal disaster for me. There are at least 8 holes where you are playing blind, especially for a first time visit. The rough manages to eat golf balls like they are going out of fashion. The greens are excellent, the fairways as good with not too many divots. If you do have trouble walking....you WILL need a buggy. All in all I played terrible but would I go back...next week hopefully.
