Nice view
Lovely course. I last reviewed this course on the 22nd of May 2016 and to be honest little has changed. When playing this course today, the fairways were undergoing maintenance but normally the fairways excellent. The greens are often slightly elevated which makes for interesting chip shots and bunkers were top quality as they normally are, the tees were pushed forward which shorted this long course a little.
The course could do with more ball cleaners at tees and some rubbish bins more frequently. If i was to have a little issue with the course, is that some of the holes feel a little samey, long par 4, smash driver for the tee shot.... Only in the summer when the rough is lethal would one start consider playing safe with a long iron from the tee. Where as courses nearby with tight fairways with little escape force you to play safe. There is no practice green (which they could do with) or driving range at this club but they do have nets to warm up in and an area for chipping.
The views at the course are my favourite in the golfing area because you can observe the Severn valley from the course which is on the Cotwoldsway. You can see down as far as the Severn bridge and observe the shadows of the Malvern hills in Herefordshire. The view is stunning. When this course is full priced I personally think there is better evening rates, during the summer months, however the £20 winter rate (£15 due to fairway maintenance) is fair.

Great views and fast round
Despite being very windy the course was still a pleasure to play. Fairways were dry, greens as quick as they could be without the wind blowing the ball and took a full shot. Friendly staff and great value for money in the clubhouse.(Round played: Oct 2017 - Score: 78 Handicap: 8.9)

Picturesque course
very picturesque course with great views of the surrounding area in the Cotswolds to the Bristol estuary. Facilities were good, friendly and welcoming. Course itself of good standard, with elements providing a particular challenge as the course is on top of a tor.(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 105 Handicap: 28)
