Potential to be a good course, some interesting holes. Some fairways are are poor with bounces shooting off in all directions. Couple of holes were narrow and no semi rough to talk of, staight into the long stuff, lost ball. Booked tee time in advance, when turned up, pro shop closed, bar staff had touble with payments, not sure of price. few people waiting to tee off, bit disorganised. Feel could be really good course with some attention to detail. despite the above did enjoy the day.

I played here with a friend who has recently just started playing golf and because we do not play at this course regularly we found it very difficult to guage distances as there is very little effort with regards to Yardage markers, there was also a few bunkers which were in a very poor state and there were some which were treated as 'GUR'. I would expect his occasionaly if weather conditions are bad but i feel these were in a very poor condition.

The greens were also in bad shape and was almost impossible to stop the ball on the green for any distance over 30 yards. They were hard, bare of grass and obviously not treated.

I'm normally quite easy going and even though the condition of the course was poor somehow i still managed one of the best rounds i've ever played with a 76.

The wind is a major issue here and makes for very interesting play. Not for the faint hearted or short hitters. Was good value but very difficult to know where the next hole was on some. I feel the course needs a lot of TLC or a groundsman to sort out the really noticeable bad condition.

Best of luck and hopefully this wont affect your score for the worse.

The course is on a chalk terrai which, especially when dry, gives lots of roll. However, there's not much grass on the fairways so it's diifficult to get a good strike from them. The bunkers are rubbish, not much sand and poorly mainatained. Some great views and some interesting holes.I was speaking to the owners recently and they promised improvements - we shall see.

A fairly new course in need of a proper club house. Some of the fairways need improving ( too many stones just below the surface), but can be played in wet weather. The greens are always playable all year round.

Another one about to bite the dust

According to the staff, the lease was up and the owners didn't wan to renew as a Golf Course. Not in the best of states as regard dryness but not let go yet. Only 2 weeks to go though. Tees bare but greens though a bit overused and bare were good enough to putt consistantly

OK course

Good course for beginners/high handicappers as it's very open with few hazards, relatively forgiving and many short holes. A bit featureless and holes become a bit samey. We played on a Sunday, plenty of people about but no problems with pace of play. Course in decent condition considering the rain and time of year. Clubhouse modern and smart. Only downside was I felt that it was overpriced (£35).

Nice course and drains well this time of year

Nice to play this time of the year and not end up covered in mud. Not the longest course, but was in good condition. Only comments would be the number of pitch marks not repaired on the greens and the bunkers - 1 part sand - 1 part gravel & stones.
