Course condition
Played here for the first time in a year yesterday 30th Course was superb,plenty of work done over lockdown to keep in condition,looks a picture,greens excellent,plenty of sand in bunkers,hats off to maintenence staff.Be a tragedy if this course falls victim to another river crossing,as was packed and is clearly very popular.Reviewer Rating

Good course, poor service...
Arrived 15 minutes before our tee time and went to the clubhouse to pay, it was a Wednesday so expected to pay the midweek £27 fee however was charged the weekend fee of £35. When I questioned this the front of house staff barely even looked up while grunting ‘the week between Christmas and new year is classed as a weekend’ which is the first time I’ve heard this.. if they are going to charge you extra at least put it on the website so you know what you’re about to pay rather than it being a surprise when you turn up - no mention of this anywhere whatsoever. We then joined the queue of 6 other sets of golfers waiting to tee off on the first which took half an hour to play the first hole. I understand the business is struggling but overcharging quests and cramming as many people in as possible simply does not work. Shame as it is a very well kept course and could be good fun.Reviewer Rating

Good Winter Course
This couse is hidden little gem.I played here in November and was totally impressed with the condition of the course. Exceptional drainage means its playable all year round. No water to worry about but plenty of bunkers to avoid. Mostly wide fairways and few trees mean you will be exposed to the elements especially the wind but it also means no leaves to contend with in Autumn.
Not too much of a challenge for a decent golfer but an enjoyable track for the average Joe or Joanne.

Good all round course.
Course in good condition, first course for a while were you can use bunkers, and they have good sand amounts of sand in them.(Round played: Sep 2020 - Score: 90 Handicap: 21.8)

This a good course popular with players good food and club house. The only thing that’s going to spoil this course is it’s due to close for option C river crossing but still worth a visit till it does.
