What the club says: Seaford Head Golf Course is a beautiful, downland, municipal course with magnificent views of the sea and the South Downs. The course gives a lovely blend of downland and links style golf, described by many as an undulating links course.

Always in good condition and reasonably priced .I would like to see more rubbish bins on the course though, perhaps one on every other tee box .

For membership if you join midstream the club pro does not offer pro rata deals therefore costing you more for less. Also the club is separate from the course in its ownership. Seaford Town Council own and collect income from the club. This makes any complaints difficult as the club’s hands are tied by the Town Councils directorship which bears no relevance to inclusiveness and fairness. So new members be guarded in this respect. It’s a shame because the course itself has improved over the past few years.

The start is a bit tricky if you don't know where you are going but the course was in good condition with splendid views especially on the back 9 and closing holes.

Played for the first time, greens were in superb condition considering the dry spell. Fairways bone dry to be expected. Tee boxes could do with a bit of TLC, but generally for the price the course is astounding value.

Course was in excellent condition, rough not too long and greens in very good condition. Friendly clubhouse staff.
Unfortunately had a very slow 4 ball in front of us. Kitchen was closed in the bar area, so no food at end of round.

Undoubtedly my favourite course in England so far. The wind can be a real pain and the twelfth is a rest on the legs. Not a fan of the winter tees but fully understand the reason.

Good Weather makes it perfect
Played here a few times but the most recent the sea mists rolled in & visibility dropped from 100 yards to about 30 on the last few holes. The 18th has a sharp descent so make sure any less fleet footed in your group keep their trolley ahead of them.Reviewer Rating
