Excellent value, it's rating on here is about right. It's not much of a challenge, less than 6,000 off the whites, so several nearly driveable par 4's. If they could squeeze a few more yards out of it I would think it could be top 500 which is very impressive for a public course. The views put it ahead of Seaford blatchington in my book, but that is definitely the tougher test of golf.

There are a couple of climbs, so beware: This course is not easily walked.

Seaford Head Golf ClubThis was the most hilly golf course I have ever played, with great views. Good condition with helpful friendly staff.
Great cliff top courseHigh quality public course, great layout with fantastic south coast white cliff views, a stunning 18th tee position! May not be long enough for golfers lower than 10 handicap but will challenge most amateur golfers. Slight clash with walkers on 16th/17th holes can affect concentration.

Great Course by the seaGreat course set next to the chalk cliffs of Seaford. Greens in great condition as are the fairways. A good challenge if the wind is blowing off the sea. Reasonable prices but can get busy. Clubhouse is good and worth a visit for the food and drink.

Hottest day of year but with breezeHave played here several times recently after many years break. Course is well above average for a Council one. Very good value with nice bar and catering plus a great view. Course hilly in parts particularly as you move from the flatter ground up onto the Head itself.
