Totally recommended, perfect golf course, very nice and helpful staff, always on hand to help you with your visit, a well kept golf course with a few challenges to keep you on your toes, well worth a visit and enjoy your time/stay, lots of features to explore,well done Rutland county golf course and staff, and not to mention if your struggling with your game, a Perfect way to get better, have a few lessons with Dominic Fitzpatrick totally recommended, very enjoyable

12 of us had the pleasure of playing this lovely course,really good variety of holes great condition lovely greens as well . Great range and practice areas. We shall be going back.

Fantasic course, surpassed only by the warm welcome from all staff. I played as part of an organised, 40 player society day, and it was evident on arrival, that the choice of venue was an inspired one. The greens were sublime and the overall course was testing, with a difficulty level that kept all standards interested.

Played today greens were better than I have seen them , tees were a little rough but it was clear that watering was being targeted to the greens and like most courses needs nature to help. I Understand they have new green staff and the improvements they are making are becoming clear for all to see a great day.

The game was a good one it was a little windy on hole 3 but after a good tee off i composed myself as my first 9 holes are usually the worst i do but it was a good round. The course as usual is in fantastic condition.

Excellent condition. Greens a good pace, fairways firm and rough a fair test for the wayward shot. Very welcoming club to visitors with good staff.

Played society day 10/11/13. Course was in fantastic condition. Greens were superb and very fast. Would recommend this course to anyone. Handicap 11.4 score 97.

The greens were hard to read but unfortunately for my friend and I the weather was awful. Should have just turn up and sat in club house and had a nice hearty breakfast. As we play hear regularly this will not stop us from returning.

love this course my personal favorite course scenery does not get much better than rutland water when the sun is up boats floating about on the waters edge great course great people great service well worth a visit
