The course was playing fairly short as it was dry and got a lot of run on. However, need to keep it straight after the first few holes as the 4th to 15th are very tight with plenty of mature trees. There is plenty of room in the trees but no clear cut openings...challenging. Staff very friendly but changing rooms need a bit of work.

Very interesting and often pretty course. First few holes are open and a little uninspiring but it soon ventures into tight and twisting woodland with lots of nice water features. Greens were very nice but Gatwick flight path was hard not to notice at times. Clubhouse is unusual, bit lile a timewarp but they had some nice ales on tap. Definately want to go back though to try and shoot a respectable score!

Under new ownership and still getting their ship in order. The coarse was very good. Service for food and drink was not good. Not enough staff we were told. I will play again and am sure they will do well.

First time i've played Rusper, course was in great shape with excellent greens. Really friendly clubhouse and shop and brilliant value for money

Nice course, tight, in good condition, good facilities, club house need attention but is fine, cost of play was on high side. My friend was told to take off his golf shoes, soft spikes summer day little grass mud, at the bar ? the bar could pass for a farm barn.

This was my first visit and what a lovely little surprise, the first couple of holes are open but then you meander through woodland with very tight and picturesque holes. One minute it can be as quiet as a mouse and then the next you get a plane coming over as its right on the flight path from Gatwick airport. Some tough holes with a lot of water, definitely worth a visit.

I've been a member at Rusper for a few years and probably play 4 times a week although my wife thinks it\\\\\\\'s only once a week 
. I have played on many courses in the area therefore I am in a good position to compare Rusper to its competitors. \\\\\\\\The club has recently acquired new owners and whilst at first sight there may not seem as though much has changed there is a lot of work now going on to improve the course/facilities. There is clearly a lot of money now being spent on getting the greens and fairways into great shape and this will only improve on what is already a fantastic course. The challenge will be to prepare the course for winter as it historically can be very wet however after speaking to Fergie, an extremely friendly and enthusiastic green keeper, I know there will big big improvements due the new owners. \\\\\\\\What I also appreciate is that I usually play very early mornings and quite often the green keepers are out and about and are more than happy for me to play at this time where i know other courses do not allow this. \\\\\\\\The course itself is very challenging and every hole has its dangers with many holes being tree lined. There are also quite a few holes where water comes into play. I know my game has definitely benefitted from this and I know drive a lot more consistently and can now draw or fade my shots depending on the shots needs. \\\\\\\\Overall, taking everything into account including costs it is by far the best choice around and I hope to remain a member for many years.
