Superb value

Played bank holiday Monday and course in great condition. Pro in shop had come in early to sort our buggies and was very friendly and helpful.
Great value for money round, nice views over straights with nice true greens, will definitely be playing here again.

A friend and I played this course twice and were made to feel most welcome by everyone at the club. Members staff and Golf Professional were all extremely friendly. We were even invited to join in one of their competitions which we thoroughly enjoyed. Considering the weather that we had experienced in the weeks prior to our visit the course was in excellent condition. We both managed scores well under our handicaps which made the days even more enjoyable. Spectacular views over Caernarfon Bay.

Excellent parkland course. Plays very fair. Great greens, putting was on fire. Some clever hazards and approaches. Good views and nice clubhouse/changing rooms.

Played Caernarfon on a glorious sunny day at August Bank holiday. We have played here once or twice a year for the last few years and the pro is the most helpful and accomodating person you could hope to meet, we always look forward to our visits here. The course was in immaculate condition both in terms of the fairway and greens which were quick, smooth and true. The course is a testing parkland layout which is open enough to give the average hacker a chance of keeping track of their ball but tough enough for the better golfer to be challenged to achieve a good score. After the round the clubhouse was busy but we could not have been made more welcome, we sat out on the terrace, which is great little suntrap, enjoying a pint of frothing ale and plate of sandwiches and chips dissecting our round. As we left we booked tee times for the same day next year!

Just over 15 mins drive from the A55 expressway at Bangor, its great holiday golf as part of any golf trip, Playing any of Nefyn, Royal St, David's, Pwllheli or Porthmadog? Then include Caernarfon on the way there or on the way back. Best golf catering you will find in North Wales (what our visitors keep telling us). The Pro is friendly and very helpful, the beer is spot on, and between mid June and September the course is excellent (its good at other times as well), the views spectacular and panoramic, yet its not hilly but you can hire buggies. We have a super ball dispenser driving range and a short game practice chipping and putting green. What more could you possibly want? Great value green fees (compare with the other clubs in the area) and tailored packages for groups, societies, corporate and hotels etc. Groups of up to 8 call the Pro, otherwise call the Secretary for package deals. Yes, I am a member and No I am not on the committee, I just love this club, the course and the members and I am proud to promote it and would like every golfer to play it. If you have a good thing then why not share it? See you at the 19th! Golfman.

Played the Course 12th October 2012. The Course was in excellent condition considering the torrential rain the previous day. The welcome from the Professional and the hospitality from the Steward at the 19th hole was a credit to the club. The Steak 7 Kidney Pie is a must.

The course was in superb condition with immaculate greens and the views across Snowdon in the sunshine made it even more beautiful. Well laid out and challenging enough although not overly long. The pro was really helpfull and couldn't do enough for us. Lunch time snacks were fine and good value and the larger meals looked inviting. Everybody was very friendly and obviously proud of their course and rightly so. This is one to go out of your way for.

Short, but challenging fun in Wales

Not the longest course, but a full 18 holes of fun and challenge - well worth a visit. Recommend two rounds as very helpful to know your way around on certain holes.

Very unlinks like considering proximity to coast

Surprised by this course as it is so close to the sea and yet is a parkland course. Good mix of holes and some interesting features especially on 18th. Shortish course but very playable. Greens a little on the slow side considering the amount of good weather but overall in good condition.

Coastal parkland gem

Played a round during a visit to the area. The course was in good condition, especially the greens which were quite challenging with lots of sloping areas. Very friendly throughout. We were given a free 18 hole voucher as we'd booked on a day when a discounted rate applied to certain tee times which they didn't have to offer. Would recommend.
