Good course in the freezing conditions
We arranged to tee off at first light at this course with bacon and coffee beforehand for 15 players. The course were very accommodating and staff provided our food and beverages on a very cold morning. Course is interesting and laid out well, but as it was frozen solid, staying on the greens was a challenge, especially the first par 3 from the raised position. Some of our group had food afterwards which was also decent. All in all a good course worth visiting.Reviewer Rating

Not much water!
Although it's called the Blue Monster there isn't much water. It's a fun course non the less and mixes a good deal of par 4s with 5s and 3s. Very good value for moneyReviewer Rating

SLOW!!
The course was in excellent condition, the greens were class, does have a tendency to be boggy at times, however is completely let down by its senior members who were in four balls ahead, had to wait long periods on every tee, even though leaving the previous green the members were not even off the tee, and at times hitting second shots from around 10/20 yards from the tee, but still wasn't invited through, but all that doesn't compare to when another member joined them on the 10th to make a five ball! This is the third time I have played there and on all occasions the members have reacted in the same way.... great course.... poor members...Reviewer Rating

Bargain for £10
Played Monday 17th September for £10 which is excellent value. Tees and fairways in good shape . Bunkers ok. Greens healthy and looking good after the very dry weather but very slow. IlReviewer Rating

Course in good knick
As the course was in good conditions. Played my best round since 2009. Not 100% but getting there. Good value for money if you play after 12pm(Round played: Aug 2018 - Score: 86 Handicap: 21.2)

Nice challenging course
Nice course but find it very challenging, long grass a bit long because of the dry weather, especially the gully's.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 104 Handicap: 26.8)
